Kayla Tackett has been the pediatric counselor with Judi’s Place since January 9th, 2024. Kayla was born in Richmond, Virginia and moved to Johnson Co. Kentucky when she was 2-year-old. Kayla graduated from Paintsville High school and gained her bachelor’s graduate from Alice Lloyd College in Sociology. After college, she worked as a substance abuse counselor in a residential facility. Kayla received her master’s at Lindsey Wilson College on December 9th 2023 in Professional Counseling. Kayla is recently LPCA certified. When not working, Kayla enjoys hanging out with her husband and family, fishing, and reading. One of Kayla’s major passions is getting involved in her church and teaching Children’s Church.
