Kayla Ward has been a Forensic Interviewer since January 2025. Originally from Pike County and raised in Johnson County, Kentucky, Kayla earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Morehead University in 2015. She went on to obtain her master’s degree in social work from the University of Pikeville (UPIKE) in 2023. Following her graduation, Kayla began her career with Protection and Permanency, which ultimately led her to a role in therapeutic foster care. With a decade of experience in the social work field, Kayla is dedicated to supporting children and families through challenging circumstances.
Outside of her professional life, Kayla enjoys spending time with her two daughters, her extended family, and embracing the outdoors. Kayla is passionate about advocating for vulnerable individuals, ensuring their voices are heard and that they receive the support they need.
