Amber Hogg joined Judi’s Place for Kids as a Forensic Interviewer in September of 2025. Amber was born and raised in Letcher County, Kentucky. Amber graduated from the University of Kentucky (GO CATS!) in 2012. Following graduation, she went on to work as a Pretrial Officer in Henderson, Kentucky, and then DCBS as an ongoing worker in Perry County, Kentucky. Amber obtained her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Campbellsville University in 2022, and worked as an Outpatient Therapist for 4 years.
Amber has always had a desire to help others, especially children, and found that Judi's Place for Kids gave her the opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring justice for the youth in our communities.
In her free time Amber spends her time with her husband Zach, family, and her dogs. Amber’s most prized title is Auntie to her niece and nephew, and she spends the majority of her time outside of the office watching her niece cheer and trying to get to Lexington to see her nephew at the University of Kentucky. Amber is a die hard Kentucky fan, and is currently praying for a miracle for the football team, and #9 for the basketball team. Amber also enjoys reading, crafting, and a good nap.
