Alicia McCauley joined Judi's Place for Kids as the Community Outreach Coordinator in March 2025. Alicia has grown up all over from Arkansas to Pennsylvania, but has been living in eastern Kentucky since 2015. Alicia originally joined Judi's Place for Kids in 2017 as an Office Assistant for the Prestonsburg office and from that experience knew that she wanted to continue working in the field of social work. Alicia earned her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Morehead State University in 2020. She then went on to obtain her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville in 2021. Alicia then worked for a few years for head start as a Behavioral Health Consultant before obtaining her CSW licensure. After passing her CSW exam, Alicia began working as a therapist with the hope to provide more therapeutic services for children in eastern KY. Most recently, Alicia has passed her LCSW exam!
During her free time Alicia enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, family and friends, and the many pets she shares with her boyfriend. Alicia also likes to read, paint, listen to music, and do photography. Alicia has always had a passion for helping and advocating for vulnerable children and families and is excited to be back at Judi's Place for Kids.
