A forensic interview is a method used to gather factual information from a child victim while being sensitive to the child's emotional needs and developmental level. One way to lessen the trauma experienced by the child victim of abuse is to reduce the number of interviews a child goes through to talk about the same allegation of abuse. The Center aids to bring together the interview services so everyone connected with the investigation can participate in one interview of the child.
